Bridget Conley and Catriona Murdoch from the Starvation Accountability team attend the high-level UN General Assembly (‘UNGA’) event on conflict and food-insecurity in New York. The event entitled ‘Exploring the Link Between Conflict and Global Hunger’ was cop-hosted by The Netherlands, the United States, the European Union, Sweden, the Food and Agricultural Organization, the International Fund for Agricultural Development, and the World Food Programme. 

During the 73rd session of the UNGA, Bridget Conley and Catriona Murdoch held consultations with the World Food Programme and Action Against Hunger. Remarks were given by Secretary-General António Guterres, USAID Administrator Mark Green, World Food Programme Executive Director David Beasley, CEO of Action Against Hunger France Véronique Andrieux, and more.
