Niriksha Sanghvi is an India-qualified lawyer with a focus on international criminal and humanitarian law and business and human rights. With GRC, Niriksha has been involved in both Phase I and Phase II of the Accountability for Mass Starvation project and works on other GRC projects, including the “International Law and Defining Russia’s Involvement in Crimea and Donbas” and “Business and Human Rights” portfolios. Since 2019, Niriksha has worked with a Defence team at the International Residual Mechanism for Criminal Tribunals (‘IRMCT’) on a complex re-trial. Previously, she worked with the Commonwealth Human Rights Initiative on gender-based violence and a corporate law firm in India. Niriksha holds an Advanced LLM in Public International Law with a specialisation in international criminal law from Leiden University and a diploma in international human rights, humanitarian and refugee law from Indian Society of International Law.
